1. Create Your First Campaign
Decide what type of campaign you want to run:
a) Affiliate β track conversions across your site or app.
b) Content β sponsored posts for creators to post on their social channels or just content for you to use.
c) Advisory β track meetings with creators for consulting or advice.
2. Set the Campaign Dates
- Application dates β time period where you'll accept creators to the campaign.
- Start/end dates β when the campaign official starts and ends.
- Close date β content should be reviewed and payments sent by this date. We recommend officially closing within 30 days of the campaign end date.
3. Fill Out the Campaign Details
- The campaign details and dates from above will automatically generate a statement of work.
- Campaign description box β Be specific. List any talking points, specific hashtags, goals, links, creative brief, and if you want an exclusivity time period or white listed content for ads (be specific about time for use and channels). You can always start a separate "Content" campaign if you decide you want to license specific pieces of content later.
- Contact email β point of contact for the campaign.
- Target URL β landing page URL.
- Campaign assets β upload any logos or images creators can reference or use in the campaign.
- Link assets β add the URLs of any external links (creative brief, compliance guidelines, examples of past successful campaigns, etc.).
4. Campaign Budget: Compensation
Determine the amount of shares you want to allocate to this specific campaign. All the creators you accept to the campaign will pull from this shared pool.
5. Set the Compensation Parameters
- Conversion threshold β should each creator be required to meet a minimum threshold of conversions/content/advisory sessions before earning equity? If so, enter the number here.
- Also enter the pre-threshold cash conversion rate. If the campaign ends and a creator has not met the minimum threshold amount, they'll be paid in cash instead of equity.
- Post-threshold β enter the amount of equity, cash, or mix of both for each conversion/content/advisory session.
- After equity exhausted β this is the cash price per action after the campaign's equity budget has been depleted (i.e., the pool runs out but you want to keep working with the creators for cash).
6. Save the Campaign
Hit the save button and a campaign summary page will appear.
7. Code Tracking Snippets
If you're running an affiliate campaign, scroll down to find the landing page and conversion page JavaScript code snippets. Place on the respective pages.
- Place this code in the header of your siteβs code on the desired landing page.
- Place this code in the header of your siteβs code on the page users will land on, once a conversion is completed.
8. Invite Creators to the Campaign
If you have existing creators you already work with, let us know and we can send them an invite to join your campaign.
